Their main internal threats are sympathizers with said Communists and Islamists. There are 49 Muslim dominated countries in the World, and Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world. Afghanistan Iran Iraq Mauritania Morocco Somalia Tunisia Western Sahara Yemen Maldives Comoros Niger Turkey Algeria Palestine Azerbaijan Jordan Uzbekistan Djibouti Libya Senegal Pakistan Tajikistan Egypt The Gambia Mali Kosovo Turkmenistan Syria Saudi Arabia Bangladesh Sudan Kyrgyzstan Indonesia Oman Guinea Albania Sierra Leone Brunei United Arab Emirates Kazakhstan Kuwait Bahrain Malaysia Qatar Burkina Faso Lebanon Chad Nigeria Of these 21 are engaged in ongoing religious and civil wars and in most others, only authoritarian sectarian rule keeps the peace. The primary driver of these wars is the struggle for dominance of the devotees of the 5, 10, 31 or (72 (according to the Prophet) traditional sects of Islam. In these civil sectarian wars and jihads, terrorism is sanctioned as a legitimate tool of war. Western Democracies, who are tolerant of the Musim faith have little to do with these wars, but are generally seen to be supportive of one sect or another, and sometimes both sides in a conflict, when it suits their political ends. Israel and Palestine are just the latest flashpoints in the Islamic ongoing wars against the non-believers. With the vast demographic movement of Muslims into the Western Hemisphere, these conflicts may no longer be confined to the BBC News at Ten.
