People have to remember that Britain is neither neutral or 'open minded.' They, like America, are fully behind Israel for historical reasons, not because they think they're right. That is evident in BBC reporting which is anything but even handed. ITV is a little less biased but shrouded in obfuscation.

And just for those interested, Britain is one of the biggest arms dealers there is. We don't brag about it for obvious reasons, but arms are one of our major exports. How much they quibble over who they sell them to is anybody's guess. But my guess is that where large amounts of money is concerned they're none too fussy. What do you think our 'Peace envoy to the middle east' was doi?'

it seems to me that terrorists exist because some people will not accept previous agreements.

Most people will accept agreements but some will feel victims of an injustice.

A cause will be developed by some which will encourage others to take up arms.

Death and destruction follow.

If the agreement had been acknowledged by all peace and happiness could reign.

Doesn't look to be turning out too well for Bibi...

Survivors of kibbutz attack turn their ire on Netanyahu:

A massive security failure and antagonism toward Palestinians means many Israelis think Netanyahu has to answer for Hamas’ attack.

Seems to be a widely held view amongst survivors and their families that have been interviewed on the TV since the attack.

I hear Bibi was massively unpopular before the war with Israelis to the point protests where supposedly scheduled. Then Israel was 'caught off guard'..

That's absolutely true but needs just one slight correction    in your last line.

"the Jews are entitled to a homeland and should be supported internationally in that, but Palestinians should also   have some consideration shown to them. "

" be entitled to a homeland and should be supported internationally in that.".

Lets have equal treatment for both .

Democratic Israel are in favor of a two state solution, as is the civilized world at large.

The majority of the Palestinian People, and their Terrorist Government Hamas, and their sponsor Iran, are not.

They are dedicated to exterminating Israel.

And there's yer problem!

Blame Jews  all you want, Hitler would be awarding ya all, Iron Crosses!  :)

Evidence?

No chance of any evidence from him   -   he's just a stirrer.

The majority of Palestinians want peace and Israeli's gone from their country.

Hamas and their few followers are the only ones in Palestine who want further war.
