For years, Netanyahu propped up Hamas. Now it’s blown up in our faces:

"Though the money was meant for Gazan civilians, Western intelligence determined that Hamas was taking money from the funds to use themselves, the outlet reported"

And the editor of the times of Israel I believe is a lefty, hardly going to be praising Netanyahu is he?

Doesn't quite fit your narrative does it.

In essence, Netanyahu knew all about it and turned a blind eye.

Sure, but as has been established repeatedly, what you believe tends not to bear any relation to reality.

The Times of Israel is "independent and nonpartisan".

A quick lookup table for Al:

Haaretz focuses on how evil Israel is to the Palestinians.

Jerusalem Post on how evil the Palestinians are to Israel.

Times of Israel is in the middle.

Are any of them praising Netanyahu, at the moment?

🙄

You're so, so far right that everything is left to you?

Not at all! 🤣

You can pontificate to your heart's desire, however...

The article suggests that the money was for the people of Gaza regardless of how you like to dress it up to suit your narrative.

Accept it.

That the money was for the people of Gaza is the dressed up bit 🙄

What it was really for:

"The calculus was to keep Hamas strong enough to counteract the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank, allowing Netanyahu to avoid a two-state peace solution and keep both sides weak."

Better luck next time

Israel under Netanyahu is fast destroying much of the support that it both needs and deserves.

It might be a Democracy in name, but if there was an election tomorrow then he would be outed by the more moderate.

Meanwhile there is a complete ban on foreign reporters within Gaza.whilst Palestinian and domestic reporters are targeted and killed.
