On the internet it says= “HAMAS–the acronym for Harakat al-Muqawama al-Islamiya (Islamic Resistance Movement” Hamas was set up in response to the occupation by Israel, if there is no occupation there is no need for any resistance group. The Hamas government when removed will be replaced by another govt, if the Israeli occupation continues then there will be resistance against it in what3ver form so the problem is the occupation needs to end. What part of that do you not understand? The root cause of the problem needs to be sorted out otherwise you are just going around in circles.
