The kindness of both of you meant more than you know. Thankyou so much. To be fair Anna, I think most people our age are more than willing to help each other out. Young uns working with familys just haven't got the time. I get bored sat at home doing nowt. If I can offer a bit of help to someone, it gives me summat to do and makes my day... Got my hands full next month though. Daughter has bought a house and is moving in November.

I did exactly that and followed Daddy's advice and it solved the problem. So there was no need to call on Padder's kind offer in the end, but the fact that he'd made it is what I'll remember, as I will remember Daddy's helpfulness too. It restores your faith in human nature when people try to help others so willingly. It's very reassuring to know that good people are still out there. It was more about the fact you spent £80 when you could have had it sorted for nowt.
