Working 70 Hours?

In comparison to who ?

Workers should be paid a living wage for a 40 hour week and there should be NO zero hour contracts.

If those 2 conditions are not met,  then the workers are being exploited.

The number of companies going bust this year is on track to be the highest since the depths of the financial crisis in 2009. So they are struggling to even survive.

We have relatively low unemployment at the moment, so not a problem.

Many firms now work on 37 hours, so things have improved.

Like you, you mean ?    You're never at work,  you're on here 24/7 like Bundy.

We twigged it long ago.

So I'm an alcoholic and now I don't work either?

You really are ridiculous

I bet when people have the choice to walk way from you.....they do

IIRC about 3 million people receiving Universal Credit are in work.

There's a lot of you on here most of the day,  wives/partners don't seem to get any attention - who'd be married!

I'm in full time work, though happily single - so I can account for my time!

I bet they're glad to get rid of them.

The wife's send them off to that 10 year old computer in the spare room so they can watch X Factor and Antiques Roadshow in peace

I like my single life, I can come and go as I please.

Last year I was at a friend's wedding, and I must admit I did feel a "wish it was me" pang - but then I remember the arguments, bickering and compromises ;)

Weddings,  one day only -  I shall stay a fiancee if I get serious,  much more independent.
