Al Bundy
Ridiculously early. Earliest at best should be 1st December. 1
Colin Foster
Open your house up as a garden centre...then you can put your Christmas decorations up in August and no one will bat an eye lid.
echo beach
If you put the tree and decorations now you might as well never take them down! Christmas is a special time with a special reason. Anytime in December is plenty early enough and preferably take them down on Epiphany which is the 12th night after Christmas ie 6th January. Most folks count Christmas Day and think it’s the 5th. Many have had them up for so long they’re sick of them and they’ve disappeared straight after Boxing Day! echo. Guest
We have so many posters on this forum complaining of rules and restrictions. Nobody wants to be told what to do when we get a dangerous virus and nobody wants a ULEZ zone to clear the air. No one wants to do anything about climate change and people want to ban this and ban that. Large numbers get ratty at speed limits being lowered and health & Safety laws drive everyone bonkers. Despite our hatred of restrictions, if a guy wants to put his Christmas tree up early to please his kids, all of a sudden there's a restrictive date and he shouldn't do that. Why ?
