The_DADDY
So I've got the flu from my awesome caring sharing daughter. Woke up yesterday feeling drained, bad cough, aches etc. She's off the gym for a few days, my lad has started with it too. My way to deal with it is...... Plenty of Vitamin C, warm lemon honey and whiskey, plenty of fluids, eat clean and my famous (in our house anyway) chicken and veg soup. A few days of this and I'll be right as rain. How do you deal with the Flu?

Al Bundy
I've been ill for the last week or so, flu like symptoms. Just rest, lots of garlic, paracetamol and an occasional hot red wine with lashings of pepper. Starting to recover now. Good luck.

I also find hot red wine with the pepper a good cure.

It's tastes unpleasant but it will help. 👍 Edited November 7, 2023 by Al Bundy
Mister M
For the last few years I've had the flu jab, and thankfully not had the flu. Warm Ribena is good for colds and flu. I find it soothes the stomach, and eases chills.

How do you deal with the Flu? Vitamin D is something that people are often low on, at this time of year.
