Birmingham City V Sheffield Wednesday Fc

Incredibly frustrating as we deserved a point at least. First half we were rather good, finding space, closing down well but we just can't finish our solid build up play.

Second half we seemed to run out of gas and ideas but Birmingham looked no better. On another day we would have held out comfortably, it's just not going our way.

We are not too far away from being a lower end championship side.  Just need a decent striker.

I don't see how Bambo seems to be the first on the team sheet. Swap him out for Barnard for me. As for the strikers, they just have no bite at all do they, abysmal really, they never get in a position where we're getting up off our seats. Gassama and Cadarmarteri need to be starting games, both look sharp and enthusiastic and can't be any worse than what we're fielding at the moment.

Finding that player is the problem, no decent striker will join us. Leicester next, should be fun.

So this one wasn’t entirely Dawson’s fault then.

I don't think so, no more than it was Windass' fault. As far as their first went the bloke caught it well and we had about 4 players closing him down, I doubt Dawson saw it until it was just about past him.

There must be at least one decent striker from the division you've left who would like to move up one.

Doubt it Cressida, not with our budget and then anyone decent would think we've had it anyway and he'd be finishing up in the same place he'd left. It's looking a bit dire at the moment. What a waste.😀
