I've often wondered for a smoker whose mental illness is so profound they have to be hospitalised, I'm pretty sure they won't be allowed to smoke?

I don't know  , maybe its because they are hospital for a short period .

Thanks for that - It's only fair they can't smoke in prison. Though I can't imagine it makes everybody else's life in prison easier.

Trust me it's a reason that many many many men don't break the law in America. 

 

Because the prisons are horrendous

 

British prisons are now controlled by Muslim gangs

I assume they use nicotine replacement treatments, like they do for hospital patients. 
 

I also assume a lot of prisoners wouldn’t be happy with that, but that’s pretty much the point of prisons, to take away your liberty, freedoms and choices 🤷🏻‍♀️
