Nhs Waiting List

Recommended Posts

The number of people on the NHS waiting list is now 7.7 million.

That, I believe is the highest ever and it's not acceptable.

How many of those 7.7 million people are unable to work because of their ailment and was something announced in the autumn statement to get the list down?

It is not really a surprise the NHS waiting list is so high.  There was an once in one hundred year pandemic that meant NHS resources were used to treat those who caught covid and all non urgent treatments were postponed.  In the last year Doctors, Nurses and Consultants have been on strike for many days meaning appointments have been cancelled.
