I have colleagues right now whose work has been affected.  One recovering from a broken leg another, one recovering from stomach illnesses. Neither of them are able to attend the office and can't travel so are doing alternative work from home. That doesn't mean they are not working.

So over a million people are not as productive as they could be.

Why? - I am just pointing out that it could be a little 'skewed', shall we say.

Surely someone on this forum knows how to Google for information?

I have this - "One in three people have missed work in the last year because of delays in accessing NHS care, according to new research."

Pollsters Savanta surveyed 2,235 people in the UK this month on behalf of the Liberal Democrats.

Never heard of the polling company  - a very small sample, and where did they find them/what were the questions?

How was the sample selected, and note that, without further details, those percentage figures can only be applied to the sample.

Stop googling and posting  nonsense after you have googled.

As opposed to what you do, just post nonsense?

It is difficult to get real facts, but its true that if 7.7 million people are waiting for NHS treatment, a large number will be ill and not able to work, unable to care for the family etc.

Probably not that many when considering the overall number.

Here's another question, how many of those 7.7m are waiting for treatment due to their own negligence, stupidity, risk taking, lifestyle choices, substance abuse, refusal to follow health advice? .....

wonder how many of them would be a lot more careful and a lot more accepting of a healthier lifestyle if they had to directly pay full price of their own treatment.

Indeed.

Look forward to it  -  it really is on it's way to you  -  in a  small way under Labour,   but in a big way way when the Tories get back in.

You will have old age,  declining health and declining care,   to cope with,   all at the same time.

That's without the mass migration that climate change will bring.

I'm sure you'll love it.
