The Great Climate Fight.

Recommended Posts

Is anyone watching Channel 4 'The Great Climate Fight' (9.0pm) because you really should. Especially if you're interested in climate change.

It will be repeated at 10pm on chanel15. It's a real eye opener and what I've been saying for yonks.

The answers are out there...

I watched it and the one they showed last night too.

They confirmed a lot of what I already thought and the government are now finding that they can't dodge the truth much longer.

The bus was a brilliant idea and should tour the country.     We need far more investigations like this to show how corrupt they are.

For those who don't believe that climate change is happening  WHY DON'T THE GOVERNMENT SAY THAT THEN,  BECAUSE THEY'RE TRYING TO AVOID DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT ?

If it was all lies,  our government would be the first to tell you,  but they are still accepting it.    Explanation please ?

There is no climate emergency.

Climate emergency or not, we need to look after the planet. Ways to do that which do not require us to retrurn to the stone age are out there, They can bring about 0 emissions without hammering the public into submission, but by getting the government to do what they're supposed to do and get buiness and industry to clean up their act without passing the cost onto the public in the form of higher prices and taxes.

The Tory government know how to do this, but as usual prefer to give £billions of our money to protect big business, not us.

Your local Tesco runs on a net profit of around 2%.  It's supply chains back to the factories and growers rely on fossil fuel to manufacture, ship and deliver their goods to your neighborhood at affordable prices.

If you mean getting the government to force them to use solar power, electric vehicles and windmills, without passing their costs on to the public, you are naive in the extreme. Some of these "businesses" are feeding a hungry World.

Or you can subsidize them by adding to your spiraling, unsustainable National Debts.

Can't have it both ways.

Of course there are many who've never run a business, or even a real job outside politics, government or academia, who will happily promise you that you can, if you just vote them in.

You obviously didn't watch the programme then. It was about just that.

Did you know the Conservative government is subsidising the oil and gas industry to the tune of £42 Billion a year with our taxes?  Me neither. That's in spite of the oil companies making £Billions every year in profits at our expense.

Watch the programme if you want to open your eyes.
