He had the most to gain, he was known for being ruthless, He and JFK didn't get along, LBJ was born in Texas, was a former Congressman for Texas, had a number of ' shady' contacts in Texas and JFK was assassinated in Texas. Interesting that Biden has refused to open all the files on the assassination and some information is still redacted after sixty years, Why? https://www.politico.com/news/2021/10/24/biden-secret-jfk-files-517024 Pure speculation of course, but LBJ was a Democrat and if he was in fact involved in some way it's not the kind of news that would be welcome with a Presidential election on the horizon.
