I’ve largely given up on this season. I’m viewing my season tickets as wasted money and I’m just hoping that I can get a bit of entertainment from them.

 

With that in mind, I’d have walked out of last nights game perfectly happy, without the equaliser. Wednesday were committed, organised and made some very good chances against an excellent opposition. I enjoyed the game.

 

The equaliser was the icing on the cake for me.

Thought Wednesday did well 1st half, missed 3 decent opportunities to take the lead, as has been the case all season and fell behind to a sucker punch.

The foxes over passed it 2nd half and never really got out of 4th gear seemingly content to hang onto the slender lead and payed the price with a counter sucker punch in stoppage time.

Its something they can build on, but the total lack of a goal threat and the over reliance on too many of last seasons ageing squad which were obvious before the season kicked off are going to hamper any real progress.
