Hi everyone!

I’m a journalist looking for some local stories and leads specifically in the East of Sheffield. I'd love to hear is someone has suggestions or something they think is worth covering.

Please feel free to comment or drop a DM.

Thank you in advance.

If you really ARE a journalist, you'll probably have been to university to study /qualify ?   Didn't you learn anything ?

Yes, they probably learned  'if you don't ask, you don't get.'  So what's the harm in asking a load of opinionated old codgers in Sheffield Forum?

 Good luck to them.

I think we are being too hard on him. On the one hand, he could pop in to the White Rose in Handsworth and chat to natives about what is grinding their gears but equally, this site is good for local gossip, though Facebook Community groups are far richer when it comes to that. Being a journalist does require using initiative, even going under cover to get a scoop.

OP, have you thought about covering the speight of bull dog attacks in the Handsworth area and how this supports the need for the imminent ban on such creatures? There have been 2 in the Handsworth Road this autumn/winter, most recently an innocent (non-bull dog) was attacked by a bull dog and required medical care.
