The_DADDY
Handsworth Road in Sheffield is currently partly closed following a dog attack in Sheffield. Officers were called shortly before 9am today (Sunday 3 December) following reports that three dogs were running loose in the street around the Handsworth Road area in Sheffield. As officers were searching the area, a further report was received that two dogs, believed to be of a bull breed had escaped from a property attacked a dog being walked along the street, causing injuries that required veterinary treatment. https://www.southyorks.police.uk/find-out/news-and-appeals/2023/december-2023/road-closed-following-dog-attack-in-sheffield/

Irene Swaine
No surprise of the breed. I hope all of the innocent affected by these feel better soon. The ban on these things can't come soon enough. Come on Rishi, pull your finger out and let's banish stories like this to the history books. No one needs to own a dog of this capability. Isn't this the second attack on Handsworth Road in recent months? People of Handsworth have a lot to answer for. 2 hours ago, pattricia said: I blame the owners not the dogs ! It's always a certain breed of dogs, the bull breed. And it's only muscular breeds that can effortlessly rip someone's neck open. This is what attracts thugs towards buying and breeding them. Bring on the ban. There's a nursery on Handsworth road too, if the little kiddies had been out, the outcome could have been even more devastating.
