jsys11
Does anyone know which is the best chinese buffet for families. Thinking of going tomorrow evening with 5 year old and 4 week old baby? Been to no1 oriental buffet some time ago but it was quite drab, food ok though. Not tried yumbo or wok mania. Any suggestions or reviews appreciated Cheers
medusa
The staff at Jumbo almost fell over themselves to help when I used to go in with my niece as a tiny tot. Someone always to help with the highchair and the like (and someone to stay with her while I went up to get food, when she was too small to come up and choose some food for herself). I think their food's better than the other two buffets too.
Shazbat
Can't speak for taking kids, but I've been with the b/f to No 1 Oriental tonight and would have to say that although you're not packed in as tightly as Jumbo, I prefer Jumbo out of the two. Food selection definitely better and the staff much more efficient and eager to help. At No 1 they seem to move really slowly.
kittencapes
I reckon wokmania, I like the food there and i bet your kids will love the ice cream machine!
Crusader
Anybody know what the times are on a Saturday for the 'all you can eat ' at Jumbo's? I've not been to an 'all you can eat' Chinese before but have been recommended to try this one.
medusa
That one's really easy- any time from 11.30am til midnightish I think. I like Jumbo too- and they're open all day every day which is kind of handy.
