staninoodle Posted December 13, 2023 Share Posted December 13, 2023 (edited) Fairly even 1st half, norwich did carve out a couple of decent chances, but Wednesday always looked in with a shout. After the break both sides made tactical changes and as in the 1st half norwich got an early goal and were moving the ball far quicker, with wednesday looking to take more time on the ball, a mix up at the backpost brought a killer 3rd goal from where norwich just managed the game, sitting back more and letting the Owls just pass the ball infront of them, they did get a couple of half chances but lacked the quality to take them, fair result on the night. There’s been a distinct improvement on the field since Rohl came in. A couple of astute signings in January are still needed, to give us any hope of climbing out of the hole that we are in. Losing away to Norwich won’t relegate us. We could do with a result on Saturday though. I suspect that is why Windass, Smith and Bernard didn’t feature last night.
