A good result in the end, thought it would finish a draw but up pops Musaba. Hopefully starting to look more of a player and cadz rewarding the managers faith in him.

Has to be looking at the squad now and seeing who can be cut, particularly the loanees to get more effective players in. Only 6 points in it now and still a couple more winnable games this month.

Wrong, Doc Tops says so.

And I was correct to do so.

Very flat first half with QPR's best player Chair hitting the ball that led to the OG, the Owls were much better second half and I sensed that if we got an equaliser we'd go on to win it, didn't expect it to be so late though, Bailey Cadamarteri looks a great prospect and is totally unphased by playing in the Championship.

For the record the bloke who runs round in circles was immense today, covered every blade of grass in a true leaders performance and got the cross in that led to the winning goal.

A game we really needed to win and we did.

Make mine a double.

QPR  were well drilled without possession, sat in deep and closed out space and relied on the counter punch and it paid off shortly before the break with a freak OG from Diaby, the Owls never tested the keeper throughout a dull 1st half.

Wednesday made a switch after the break, and though they looked more urgent, they still struggled to break down a dogged rearguard, a Vaulks effort ruled out for a foul on the keeper early on was the best theyd managed, it was late in the game when Cadamarteri added to his growing tally of goals and the Owls looked to have salaved a point, but kept pressing, Fletcher hit the post from a Bazza cross in stoppage time, and Musaba was on hand to steer home the winner.

Have to say for 80 minutes it was awfull to watch and quite a few had already left by the time the equaliser hit the net.
