I usually have a walk up the road mentioned, then turn right and wander around the other roads, going towards Dore Rd., and walk down there to Abbeydale Road South/Dore Station. About 25 years ago I was one of the 1st on the estate to start decorating my house with lights and even back then a few people would make a point of coming round to see them every year. I'd give them a Mince pie and a glass of something whilst they went on the garden and looked at all the lights.
