Sir Tim Martin

Why are the left so bitter against successful individuals?

Tim Martin.

Jeff Bezos

Elon Musk.

Tim Martin proper get em angry, strange as he employs thousands and pays over 100 million a year in tax and provides a service that millions enjoy.

He deserves his knighthood.

I doubt that “the left” all have the same opinion about anything, so I don’t really understand your generalisation

Personally, I’m not keen on Wetherspoons for a couple of reasons. I don’t like their food very much. And I can’t take my dog into their pubs.

I do use them from time to time, but I prefer other places.

Like him or not...

He has built a very successful chain of pubs.

You wouldnt say that if you had bought shares in his pub chain in 2015, the price is down.

I bought in 2021 and I am still down, I do my best to get the share price up  :)

The share price is recovering this year.
