I've been in some really posh ones and some dives

The Banker's Draft is the nearest one to me and could be classed as a bit rough

But its always busy and the food is pretty decent

It just hasn't had a refurb since it opened 20 odd years ago

Do you still live on Park Hill then?

That's all very well but doesn't show how JD Wetherspoons shares have performed over more than the last year.

Try the historical charts on this link - specifically the 5 and 10 year ones. It's down from about 1700.00 at the end if 2019 to about 800.00 now.

Surely COVID is the reason for that

Who'd have thought that shutting pubs for nearly two years would have such deep and far reaching damage to the industry 🙄

Don't like Wetherspoons pubs .Been in the new one near us twice and thats enough for me but having said that , I can't see why people are getting their knickers in a twist over this .

Are people getting their knockers in a twist over it? There's been lots of people claiming left wing people will get their knickers in a twist but there hasn't been any evidence of it.
