Yes I saw the film today,  so the state was Texas,  don't know what what age was legal there,  there was a furore when Jerry Lee Lewis married his cousin who was 13 years old.   It's wrong in that kids that age haven't experienced the ways of the world yet,  but it could be argued some are more mature for their age.

Priscilla so young looked bewildered.

What did you think of the film Cressida? Is it worth the money?

Saw the Elvis film and thought that was good with Austin Butler playing the lead role.

Got to say , as a big Elvis fan I was looking forward to the film . Turned it off after 30 minutes. Just couldn’t get into it.

The actor who played Elvis sounded the same,  looked like him in profile,  he didn't sing enough - Elvis singing clips.  The actress who played Priscilla,  Cailee ? didn't look anything like her imo.

Was 7/10 - passed the time really.

Thank you.

I don”t think I’ll bother to spend my money then.

Save it for something better!

The Elvis estate didn't allow the filmakers to use any of his music which would be a big turn off for me.

How long is it going to be before the current crop of singers & bands go "Can't be arsed to tour any more" but for £75 a ticket, you can watch an avatar / AI version perform the current & back catalogue of songs for a couple of hours.

I saw only yesterday that KISS, who hung up their platforms only a couple of weeks ago to finally retire, are intending to go down this avatar route, so that they can perform in perpetuity still rake in the money.

I think most acts get a buzz out of appearing on the stage, I don't think many will take the AI route and it's all so very expensive to put one of these shows on.

Singer Elvis Presley is set to be brought back to life virtually as part of a new immersive concert experience.

Elvis Evolution will use AI and feature holographic projections of the star, created from thousands of his personal photos and home-video footage.

The show is set to open in London in November before moving to Las Vegas, Berlin and Tokyo.

It follows the success of Abba Voyage, a virtual concert with avatars of the Swedish pop band.

British immersive entertainment specialists Layered Reality have secured the global rights for Elvis Evolution. The company has previously produced immersive experiences including The Gunpowder Plot and The War of The Worlds.

The company said the Presley show will feature a "jaw-dropping concert experience" where a life-sized digital Elvis "will perform iconic moments in musical history on a UK stage for the first time".

Presley will go spare.

Didn't they do that some years ago?

Remember one of the regulars from the Hallamshire, Commonside, waxing lyrical about the show a good 10 years or more ago.
