Anyway, I'll grant you that. Putin does alone what it takes our entire government to do. Make decisions be they good or bad.

Yep - Russia is a dictatorship - glad we've established that.

And that is worse than what we have is it?

By far.

Opponents of Putin are dead, exiled, imprisoned.

Opponents of Sunik can oppose him openly on TV, in the press, on the internet. walk the streets freely.

Do you notice a difference?

I'm sure Julian Assange would disagree.

Do you think Julian assange would've got away with what he did or even be alive to disagree if he was giving russian secrets away? Or even criticising Putin's regime?

But Assange didn't give secrets away. He exposed American war crimes.

For that he languishes in Bellmarsh without being convicted of a crime.

I agree that had he shared Russian secrets he would likely be in prison in Russia too.

So where's the difference between UK and Russia on that score?

Yup, that's another one.

It was a terrible thing to happen.

It's a good job the UK, USA, Israel etc etc etc etc  have never done anything like that, State Sponsored murder of its enemies is extremely disturbing.

So how many opponents of Sunik are imprisoned, missing. dead etc.

As much as I detest him I would reckon zero would be pretty accurate.

Probably none.

So how many opponents of our government are/have been imprisoned, missing, dead etc?

You detest a man you've never met, never spoken to, don't know personally or professionally or socially?

That's seems all very reasonable 🙄

Right, it's been fun but I'm knackered.

Good night all 👍
