TheBar&Kettle
Hey there! We recently opened a gym in this beautiful old building on Hawskley Ave in Hillsborough called The Bar & Kettle, and we're incredibly curious about its history. As you can see in the pictures, there's a stone with the engraved date of its construction, 1907. However, the rest of the letters on the stone have been chiselled off. Additionally, there are square stones halfway down the building that have also had their writing erased. This has sparked our intrigue, and we'd be thrilled to hear from anyone who knows anything about the building or has any old pictures of it. We're eagerly looking forward to uncovering more about its fascinating past. Share your knowledge with us!

Jeffrey Shaw
I'd start by looking at HM Land Registry's records/documents. Each copy costs £3 if bought direct online.
