Those that drive in the middle lane who go into the 'Slow Lane', when they know farewell , they're  going to have to pull back out  because there is a slower moving lorry ahead can't read the read the road and are worse than the hoggers

The middle lane is for those with forward thinking 8)

Keep safe.

Totally agree Rockers particularly if the driver in the middle lane is already travelling at 70mph, the legal limit.

Not enough drivers see beyond the end of their bonnet!😀

Yes, that’s some bonnet Rockers.

Dad took Mum, me and two friends to Monte Carlo in  Mk 1 two tone Zodiac twice, the first time in 1956.

A year later the gearbox failed on the Italian Riviera and having been botched by a garage it again failed in Lyon on our return journey home and had to be repatriated on a car transporter train.

An experience that I’m never likely to forget!

He also had  Mk11 Zephyr (Z Cars) in 1963.

Wouldn't want to correct you Eco and I know  they did use the Mk11 Zephyrs in the early programs. The Mk 111 was more thought of as the Z car.

Had plenty of Mk 111's, including an ex Police Zodiac and a ex army left hooker, happy daze (can you still by them for £40 :wow:) .

If that’s a Mklll on the annual then it’s my error; it was one of those he had.

I helped drive it to Venice and back on holiday in the early ‘60s.

I recall being pushed for time to catch the ferry in Calais when I raced through a village (blink and you miss it sort of place) when a gendarme blew his whistle as I passed.

Didn’t stop, just put my foot down. Did make to the boat in time!

No props echo.

The Mk 111 came out in 63, the Mk11 Zephyr / Zodiac was similar to the Consul in shape (had all 3 😀).

Better get back on subject .

Of course we'd pass our driving tests.

Even the theory test is only common-sense.

Keep safe 8)
