Wonder if any player has ever scored a hat trick or even more of penalties in a cup tie?

Who is the ref today, Keith Hackett?😀

echo.

Didn't Andy Blair score one for Wednesday, can't remember who it was against though think it was the League Cup.

Yes he did, just done a search.

In November 1984, while playing for Sheffield Wednesday against Luton Town, he achieved the unusual distinction of being the first player to ever score a hat-trick of penalties in the League Cup. [6] He also appeared for Barnsley and Northampton Town, before a knee injury ended his professional career in 1989

Didn’t know we were playing Southampton, Ronson, although both them and Brighton are on the south coast.😀
