You have a good memory, Boy Friday, I remember the name but not their posting style. Bago really was very forthright in her posting style, just a bit too much in my opinion!

I miss the likes of Basilrathbon and Alcoblog's posts; perceptive and amusing, without seeking to be deliberately offensive.
Very sad to hear of my old friend Mort's sudden passing a little while ago, though I think she'd ceased to be a mod some time previously.

I miss Zakes ramblings about his trials and tribulations in his youth . Very funny and knowledgeable .He is the only poster who I has introduced himself to me .I know he is ill and just wish him the best .

There is a poster called cyclunt who has the same avatar that cyclone used to have. If they're the same person, they don't post nearly as much as they used to. Thankfully 😁

Boy Friday was a very good poster. For some reason, I've always remembered a post he made about a friend downing a whole bottle of Encona hot pepper sauce for a bet and then vomiting it all up in lurid orange.

There was Lord Snooty, taken from the character in the Beano comic. He seemed to quit the forum after some discussion with a member who appeared favour of eugenics.

I used to get on well with Strix, and still have some occasional online communication with her.
