    Yes. The original contract ended in 2023 and has been  been extended twice after finding it impossible to transfer to the far better Amazon- yes THE Amazon- Cloud system. 

 

    This Government already decides who can vote by controlling access to the current voting system by selecting the levels and types of ID required,  effectively deselecting voters  of age and social groups who are historically left leaning. Who will decide which takes part in the daily referenda?  A Government who were voted in over a decade before!

 

    An MP has to read and understand  parliamentary and legal language and refer to or ask Governments Departments. legal advisors, financial institutions and Civil Servants, listen to a range of representations and challenges from other MPs, constituents, business, commerce etc., etc, when deciding how to vote.

 

    Who will decide what question will be asked?  The King?, Corbyn? Truss?, Farage? Our Courts would be swamped with claims that decisions were made on misinformation. Appeals, repeals, repeat vote, would just  lead the whole decision making system lock up.

 

    In America voting on the financial aspect is used to block Presidential or Government decisions.

      In the UK the Treasury reports directly to the Cabinet on every aspect of legislation at the earliest stage and effectively kicks into touch or modifies upcoming legislation. This is what the OP wants an uninformed public to do to do at the final stage. It is impossible to separate the fiscal involvement of the Treasury from the forming of legislation by Cabinet.
