I bet some parents, such as the one mentioned, would allow access to pro-trans websites, despite the potential harm the movement is causing by promoting mutilation and medication for those with mental health issues.

Indeed.

This isn't about casual office sexism, or having a peek at Sam Fox on page 3, or whatever else people remember informally learning about sex from various media sources in years past.  This is about now, with the current ease of access online to not only the misogynistic influencers that teachers report as increasingly dictating boys' classroom behaviour, but to degrading, coercive and violent pornography.

The Children's Commissioner released reports last year which describe how such abusive sexual behaviour is normalised for the children who view it, consequently influencing not only their behaviour but their fundamental understanding of relationships the young girls interviewed report encountering violent abusive behaviour as part of their first sexual encounters because that's how sex has been modelled to them online.

The reports also describe how sexual abuse of children by other children has apparently been influenced by violent pornographic imagery:

Quote

From this work it is evident that some children and young people are being negatively impacted by pornography. I have been so concerned by the growing research that shows pornography may influence harmful behaviour. I knew this was an area I needed to explore further.  That is why I have used my statutory powers to request data, and for the first time collected case files on child-on child sexual abuse from one police force and from one Sexual Abuse Referral Centre (SARC), where children had been referred because they had been sexually abused by another child. My office has carried out innovative analysis of the text these documents to understand more about the role that pornography might play at this sharpest end of child abuse cases.

It is incredibly concerning that I found references to specific acts of sexual violence commonly seen in pornography in half of the interviews carried out following these cases of sexual abuse. Additional review of some of these cases found children suggesting direct links between pornography exposure and the harmful sexual behaviour exhibited.

Disgusting unnecessary comment, and far, far too soon.

Not really...

Being critical of the trans agenda isn't 'phobic', especially where young, vulnerable people are concerned.

It appears that, despite Brianna's mental and psychological issues, the parents allowed her (i'll use that pronoun in this case out of respect) to indulge in her delusions. She had mental and psychological issues and i wonder why the parents didn't take more care over her safety both in real life and online - they allowed her to have a TikTok account and i wonder how much support she had from them in using social media. Or were they the type to not take an interest because it's just for young people. Why would you let your mentally fragile child subject themselves to the potential online trolls?

And, looking at social media with the amount of pro-trans 'influencers' pushing the agenda to younger people, i fear this is causing younger people to be even more confused than ever. I would argue that, if you're going to block sites on suicide and murder, sites promoting mutilation of, and pumping drugs into, young healthy bodies should suffer the same scrutiny.

She shouldn't have lost her life and the couple that did it should rot in jail... but, ignoring how the trans agenda is being pushed on the young is equally as dangerous.

It certainly is phobic when it's not even the subject under discussion.  We are discussing rape committed by 12, 13,  and 14 year old kids.

It has nothing whatsoever to do with trans and it's clear that  your prejudice prevents you from conversing on any other subject.

If you look around,  you should find plenty of sites which want to discuss your favourite subject   or    you could start your own thread and stop trying to deflect other threads off course.

You see, this is why you are subject to so much ridicule on this forum.

The poster in question is making a very valid and sensible post but your inner child and constant hyperbole for attention let's you down.

You state it's the posters favourite subject....can you explain as to why you come to that conclusion?

I don't see much ridicule on the forum except by those I consider to be hard of thinking and that doesn't bother me at all.

What is valid and sensible about introducing trans into the thread when none of the people involved were trans and it's simply about rape being committed by very young males..

That particular poster has made many many posts regarding trans but maybe your memory cells haven't registered this.

We are simply NOT discussing trans in this thread but,  if you and  leviathan13,  do wish to discuss it again,  you could easily start another thread rather than de-rail this one.

I'll concede, and apologise, that i have gone off the actual topic in the title...

However, the essence is around what young people are seeing/watching on the internet and how it is influencing their actions.

No, it is not my 'favourite' subject - but i am passionate about it for a number of reasons and hold strong views.

You're right, i have posted many times, including the positive experiences i've had with a trans work colleague. You bandy 'phobe' around to the point that it's lost all meaning, so forgive me if i don't run and hide at your childish accusation.

And why does that make it their favourite subject?  Are you this childish in real life or just on the internet?

I've already explained.  Sorry if you are short of the required memory cells or intelligence to understand.

Would you care to refresh you memory regarding the subject of this thread so that you understand it's NOT trans ?

So by the token I am guessing your favourite subject is being brave behind a keyboard insulting folk and making yourself look a tit?
