Double Child Rapist And Murderer Faces Fresh Parole Hearing

Recommended Posts

It’s just a guess but I’m hoping the parole board might be a bit nervous about releasing Pitchfork, for now, especially after he was recalled back to prison after approaching young women in the streets. I hope this parole board will not be fooled that he’s a reformed man.

I clearly compared prisons in the 1960's to prisons in the year 2024.  I stand by my comment a modern day prison is more like a holiday camp than a 1960's prison.

Bring back slopping out, Axe?

Slopping out belongs in the past.  I support prison reforms.  There just should be less long term prisoners in reformed prisons because a number of them should be hanged.

We now have DNA which is how Colin Pitchfork was convicted.  Quoting historic miscarriages of justice is a very poor contribution.  Enough said.

There's no doubt forensics have made miscarriages of justice less likely but they can still happen. Look at the cases of Barry George and Colin Stagg.

You are still quoting historic cases.   We are now in the year 2024.

Forensics were available at the time of both of these cases but no  DNA was present in either case

You are quoting cases that happened over twenty five years ago.  Since then forensics have advanced significantly.
