defstef
The Apple iPod is an excellent example. Coca-cola, too. But how are you measuring success? Number of units sold? Or impact on society? I'd probably go for Coca-cola. I was thinking about saying a religious text but I guess that they're published by a number of different publishers. Strix
It must be the Big Mac - unless it's the 330ml can of Coke, but that has declined somewhat with it being diluted by it's own variants No! defstef
What about brands that become synonymous with the thing they describe, e.g. Sellotape, Hoover, Tannoy (cheers for that Alan) - surely this proves that these products have had a great social impact.
