SheffieldForum Posted February 13 Share Posted February 13 From Stagecoach Supertram: “Due to a rail break at Manor Top, we are unable to operate trams between Sheffield Station, Halfway and Herdings Park. “As a result the Purple route is suspended until further notice. The Blue route will only operate between Sheffield Station and Malin Bridge until further notice. “Customers can use valid tram tickets on First and Stagecoach buses in the affected areas. These include (click the route number for timetable information); 120 between Halfway, Manor Top and City Centre 51 between Charnock, Gleadless Townend and City Centre 11 and 1a between Herdings and City Centre” There is currently no estimate available as to when services might be running normally again. Irene Swaine Posted February 17 Share Posted February 17 The fault is estimated to be fixed by the 23rd February 2024 and the line is estimated to be open by that date, construction work permitting. First group are operating a B1 replacement service along the Blue Route towards Halfway from Fitzalan Square and Halfway P+R.
