Camphor also is good https://hyperdrug.co.uk/george-cricks-camphorated-oil-50ml/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIiIvZiLS2hAMV66iDBx19NgJYEAQYBSABEgLFCfD_BwE Or possibly Dragon Balm

I think what's causing confusion is Cressida's description of more modern packaging on the bottle. My memory of it goes back quite some time. While Vicks VapoRub contains 8.6% of its active ingredients but Tiger Balm has 60%. Camphor is also excellent. It has decongestive properties and decreases inflammation in the lungs and throat. It also reduces nasal congestion and is a cough suppressant

Hotmale 1954
I've had a deep throaty, sometimes painful, persistent cough for six weeks now. It's not nice. I contacted the Doctor 3 weeks ago and he said it would go after a month. It's actually getting worse. No meds are helping, I'm just letting it take it's course. I hope it's not the 'hundred day' one.

If so you really need need to get your chest listened to with a stephoscope to see if you have an infection etc. Edited February 20 by Draggletail typo
