Were they night clubs? I know there was a club called Europa at the back of The Moor and also one called Berlin's.

AFAIK Suggs was a sports shop on Pinstone Street and Sexy Rexy was a boutique off Pinstone Street, Neither were on the Moor.

Can remember one Castle Street by the B&C Co-op, and Pinstone Street. Not on the Moor though, although the Star got its location wrong here;

Didn't Woolworth's close in the late 2000s? And I could have sworn McDonald's closed in the 2000s also. It then became a Stone The Crows. Dixon's was on Furnival Gate, where Nisbet's is now. There was a proper Argos though, I'll give you that one. And a Brighthouse.

McDonalds on the Moor closed due to the building needing several improvements. which the company had offered to fund despite the building being council owned. Council refused permission citing that the building was listed.

Then the council went and redeveloped the whole area......

Was that the one on the corner of Pinstone Street and Furnival Gate, opposite Debenhams?

Yeah. I'd just started Uni and got a part-time job at Maccies, as you do, to supplement my income. I was at another store but was asked to cover a shift or two at the Moor one.
