Lack Of Public Houses On The Moor

The Moor had a few pubs like the demolished Pump Tavern a John Smith's pub it wasn't a bad pub to be fair then there was Moorfoot Tavern at the bottom a Tetleys ales pub. The only pubs in the area are Dempseys bar but that's right at the bottom. A pub could work on the Moor but given how things are in the pub industry I don't see anyone willing to chance it even Wetherspoons would think twice about it they have been selling off some of their pubs I doubt other pubcos will be interested.

I was a railway employee for quite a long time. I am 28 years old, I've done several projects.

I don't recall a Pump Tavern, where abouts on The Moor was it located?
