War is a terrible thing and we should all have learned better than to engage in more of them after WW2  -  the very reason why the UN was set up which still gets ignored when it counts.

My thanks to the brave men and women, of course,  of every nationality,  colour and religion,  who fought for us,  and especially to those who made the supreme sacrifice.

 

A memorial such as mentioned would be fine by me but,  it should be made clearer that the memorials we have are  already meant to be a tribute and a thanks to every single one of them.

On the Moor , That must have made the papers ,!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Muslims are good to fight for the British army but when you are killed some of the British public resent money being spent on a dedicated memorial.
