I agree. I think much of combat will be taken over by drones and various types of missiles. but fighting men will always be needed. Drones and missiles are good at delivering explosives but tend to destroy all infrastructure, whereas street to street and building to building clearance, leaving infrastructure intact needs men. You can sink a ship or attack a fortification, using drones as Ukraine has proved, but to capture it and take it over, rather than destroying it needs men again. Maybe fighting robots will be next.
