Yes, that really gets on my tits.

I just don't get it Daddy,

Everybody is struggling to pay bills, the NHS is strapped of money, benefits are being cut left right and centre, councils are going bankrupt, yet billions are pouring into Ukraine?

The tanks never reached Kyiv.

I know. So it can't have been much of an 'old soviet ploy' can it. Unless of course you think putin isn't capable of taking Kiev at a time of his choosing?

'Is The Pope Correct?

He's infallible.  Except when he's wrong & I disagree with him.

Apparently, the Vatican has clarified what he actually inferred, didn't mean capitulation & surrender by Ukraine.

Like most comments by the high profile, the Pope's comment was 'Taken out of context'.

Yes, it's a disgrace. It's almost as though the ones sending the money are getting something out if it financially. A nice brown envelope perhaps 🤔

We still surrendered to the IRA.  Not much difference to the Ukraine situation. . I did not agree with the Good Friday Agreement but I accept it was done for good intentions and as resulted in lives being saved.

its not similar in any way, if Ukraine capitulate they lose governance of their own country  to an invading military force, which we did not in any way.

I clearly used the word negotiate in my first contribution  on this thread.

I am surprised the media and some high profile politicians are not complaining about the money being given to fund Ukraine.
