Bright side
Hi. My dad, Leonard Senior was from Attercliffe. He was born in 1925 and died in 1983. I’m trying to find more about him as my mum, also now dead, has left me with little or no knowledge of his early life. He has sisters and a brother who have helped where they could. Thanks Wendy (send me a private message if you think it best).

Grey Eminence
There was a family by the name of Senior who lived on Newhall Road, Attercliffe Going back to about 1966/67, when I was one of the management staff at Monogram Cutlery, the daughter, (not sure of any other children), working there was an Elaine Senior, aged about 18/19 at the time, and not married, but had a boyfriend. Elaine worked at Monogram Cutlery, (I. S. Dearden and Sons Ltd), in nearby Liverpool Street, and had worked there since leaving school - the company closed in 1969 and the brand names were acquired by other Sheffield Cutlery Manufacturers Hope this information is helpful to you Best Regards - V.M.H. - Subang Jaya, State of Selangor, Malaysia
