Yeah, not sure about that!

 

Notice they cleverly worded it to just include the ‘new’ buses.

No,  neither are they, obviously - it takes quite a while to charge these beasts, and there are no facilities at the SPCT yard.

Maybe the funding has allowed the installation of chargers there?

 

Or maybe they are taken to storage there after being charged/will hold charge overnight/will be transported to the interchange chargers early to be charged, or rotated into overnight storage whilst the remainder are charged overnight?

 

There’s a lot of variables we don’t know and a number of scenarios available.

As has been pointed out by someone who knows the SPCT yard - No.

 

I can see SPCT/SYCMA wanting to pay drivers to work overnight - way overnight - to allow for the first and third options in paragraph 2, and obviously they will hold charge once they are idle.

 

In any case, as you say there are variables - just hope someone has thought this through - we shall see.
