Lowedges & S8 Festival Sun Aug 11th

Recommended Posts

There will be additional diverted traffic on Jordanthorpe Parkway for the Festival Organisers to contend with and cut down on road parking down Bowshaw. I know where the work is taking place 75 Mtr. from junction with Roundabout, the notice has been attached to the bue stop at Bowshaw Inn for at least 2 weeks.

Lowedges has a festival, I didn't know that.

Probably one of those events which causes terrible traffic problems in an area which already has enough problems anyway.

Most of the people who go to Low Edges festival are from Low Edges, so why don't they walk?

I know of someone who lives 1/4 mile from the festival, he lives at number 62 and parks his car accross the drive of the person who lives at number 38, so avoid a bit of walking

the main dual carrageway is open from chesterfield thats been closed recently is open , so we expect big crowds as normal and anyone parking on nearby estates please park sensibly , as responsible organisers including a councilor as chair person please respect any areas you may park and be kind and thoughtfull to others, this has been published since 2008/9 since we started,
