I do think people here are doing West Street down though.

The only slightly dodgy part is just outside the Tesco, and that’s at certain times of day from people less fortunate that are more than easily avoided.

The pubs and bars are all quite good and cater for their crowds in their own way. The Hallamshire Hotel is particularly great again since it’s refurb and reinstatement. But you have a great variety from Capones Speakeasy under Mr.Wilson’s to Steinhouse to Molly Malones, The Cavendish, The Beehive, etc.

You can get great smokehouse stuff at Firepit Rocks, there’s some fantastic Turkish places like Istanbul, a couple of super Japanese restaurants like Tsuki and Guysho, etc.

There’s loads going on just a stones thrown away from West Street too, so it is a good core place to be and drop to other places from.

I'd sooner trust my own eyes, experience and other real people's opinion over some ridiculously inaccurate AI that appears to be modeled on Boris Johnson if it's honesty is anything to go by.

Should have been taken on a sunny Saturday morning with bustling busy shoppers.  imo

West Street doesn't have more than a handul of "bustling  busy shoppers" any time of day,

I don't work for the council.

Don't know why you'd think anyone who does would be ashamed of it though, they are a huge employer in the city and many of them do a fantastic job in very limited and thankless circumstances.
