Dead at 76.

Notorious for definitely not murdering two people back in the 90's, also had a successful American football and acting career.  He was not half bad in the Naked Gun film series.

Crikey, that's a shock.

I was in a restaurant in New York when everyone got up and started watching the TV when he was trying to get away in his white jeep.

A massive rumour was that his son was the one that actually killed his wife but OJ was so guilty.

The not guilty verdict was universally seen as a reason to stop mass riots breaking out. I was working in The Bronx when the verdict came through and the celebrations outside were huge.

They had DNA evidence against OJ, but since it was new technology at the time, it wasn't given the weight it should have been.

Perhaps if the crime had happened a few years later, he'd never had got away with it.

Yeah his blood being everywhere and previous violence against partner ,and the bogus alibi and the incredibly rare size 14 shoes which had left prints ..and on and on.

Was a perverse verdict

He may well have made off like that to protect his son.
