Union Jack is for the Royal Navy, Union flag for everything else.

No that's incorrect, Union Jack name is acceptable to use in both instances.

While the flag was originally flown by ships, the name Union Jack was accepted to refer to the Union Flag both on sea and on land, with approval from Parliament coming in 1908.

You may use either name to refer to the flag on land, but stating Union Jack may only be used by the Royal Navy is incorrect.

Should be two black S's to represent Stainless Steel .

There is the ‘Made in Sheffield’ brand, that I’ve seen on flags in the past.

But again, it is wordy and represents something else really (a worthy cause but not ‘Sheffield’ as a whole.

A flag dissected horizontally, pale blue above, dark green below with the 'horizon' line dipping towards the centre to form a 'bowl (valley)'. Within this 'bowl', a flame (yellow) held in cupped hands (one white/one brown)
