Now is the time to start digging trenches in your back garden, with corrugated iron for the roof

If this kicks off we could all be in trouble, these two countrys have the big weapons

You should be safe enough under your bridge.

Israel appears to launch a strike inside Iran -  News at Ten.

Just another angle on last nights attack rather than a new one as far as I can see - they're saying the drone attacks may have been carried out by Israeli agents in Iran.

I can’t help thinking that Vladimir Putin @ Co are smiling from ear to ear at the goings on in the Middle East, I wonder how long it will be before he offers Russian assistance.

Considering Iran has been supplying Russia with arms for their fight in Ukraine, there isn't much available to send the other way.

He could send a load of fighter/bomber jets , but with Israel's formidable air defences that's not going to end well.

Drone and long range missiles are the order of the day, but all the effort is going to blowing up Eastern Ukraine at the moment.

Iran to Begin Receiving Sukhoi Su-35 Fighter Jets from Russia Starting Next Week – Report  DEFENCE SECURITY ASIA
The acquisition of the Su-35 "Flanker E," a 4.5 generation fighter jet from Russia, will significantly enhance the capabilities of the Iranian Air Force, which has previously had to rely on older fighter aircraft to defend its airspace.

According to a report by the state news agency, Student News Network (SNN), Tehran will take delivery of the initial aircraft from a total of 24 Su-35 “Flanker-E” jets.

The Iranian Air Force currently operates models like the MiG-29, as well as U.S.-made aircraft such as the F-5, F-4 Phantom, and F-14 Tomcat, acquired during the reign of Shah Iran before the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

Last week, The Washington Post, citing intelligence sources, reported that Russia would also soon provide Iran with advanced air defense systems like the S-400 “Triumf.”

The S-400 system is highly regarded in the West for its ability to detect and destroy air targets, including stealth fighter jets like the F-35.

It can engage targets up to 400 kilometers away and is equipped with high-powered radars capable of defeating stealth technology used by aircraft such as the F-35 and bombers.

Looks like things have calmed down, the Iranians don't seem to be itching to strike back.

Not that it's solved the crisis in Gaza, but at least it's stopped it from spreading further.

I have already said this on here. There is a large Jewish Community in Gateshead and smaller one in Newcastle next to Gateshead. They have been here for hundreds of years, more came over from Europe after the Second World War. They do tend to stick together but they are a peaceful race, you never hear of them being in trouble with the police, signing on or grooming children.

They have had to hire private security. Sad after all the years the Jewish community have lived here these peaceful people have had to resort to having security patrol the streets where the majority live.

The Orthodox Jewish community of Gateshead is the third largest in Britain, and is one of the most important seats of Jewish further and higher education in the world. It is located within the neighbourhoods of Bensham and Saltwell, located within the wards of Bridges, Lobley Hill & Bensham and Saltwell. Most of the Jewish families, educational establishments, shops and businesses are mostly found in an area loosely defined by Prince Consort Road, Saltwell Park, Whitehall Road, Bewick Road and Durham Road. During term time the population of the community is boosted to around 5000.

Over the last few years, Gateshead Council together with other public sector organisations such as Northumbria Police and Gateshead Primary Care Trust has developed a close working relationship with the Orthodox Jewish Community within the Borough.
