Top4719
More pandering to the big clubs, the game is being totally ruined to please a handful of teams.
Thirsty Relic
Less chance of replays = less revenue for the smaller clubs
iansheff
Well we can't have the big clubs overpaid players getting worn out, they need all their energy for the European trophy competitions, are they not altering the format meaning more matches? They are not bothered about the fans and the clubs outside of the Premier League, all they are bothered about are the big clubs, sooner they disappear off into a European Super league the better.
Jim Hardie
The traditions of the FA Cup had already started to go down the pan but when Man Utd decided they couldn’t be bothered to take part one year it was a signal that the big clubs had to be pandered to. The FA should have called their bluff and told them they’d be kicked out of the competition for the next ten years.
bassett one
such a shame the big teams dictate and its unfair, many small clubs love to have replays at big clubs and make the extra cash or to win, disgrace

Same here - not even bothering to watch the semis now - will watch the final as I've watched them all, for the last xxxyears, but it's now the big boys game (for those who can be bothered to play most of their best players in it).

Al Bundy
Disgraceful. All it does is pander to the big clubs so they have more time to jet off to the other side of the world to play in a meaningless friendly/tournament.
