It seems that they were out to get him, times are changing. Seems like a fairly basic legal thing, not to call witnesses whose accusations were not part of the charges against him. I saw an article in the news about Russell Brand the other day and the headline said something like "Disgraced Russell Brand speaks out". There were those who were investigated in the UK not so many years ago when the frenzy of 'Operation Yew Tree' was up and running. Some of our journalists had them tarred and feathered even when they weren't charged with any offences! DISGRACEFUL!
