staninoodle
Glad thats over! Roberts almost opened the scoring but miscued his early chance and O Nien thought he had scored, fortunately the flag was raised, in between Wednesday went close with Ugbo and Musaba who was very well policed, but the nerves were eased when a clever ball inside the box from Bannan was stuck home at the rookie keepers front post by Palmer after 29 mins. 5 minutes later the lively Clarke was given too much room and he clipped the back stick with a well struck shot, 4 mins after S'land were left ruing the post when Valentin found Windass inside the box and he duly tucked away his chance, both sides carved out half chances, Beadle making one decent stop almost on the HT whistle. S'land made changes, at the break and the game swung both ways without any really clear cut efforts, the results came in that ALL of the sides involved for the final drop slot were winning and Wednesday saw it out to condemn Birmingham to relegation despite their 1 nil win. Long summer ahead and lots of decisions to be made.
Sheridan1-0
What an achievement to come from a 12 point deficit to confirming Championship football for another season…& with Danny Rohl & his staff we have real prospects of progress next season…that’s IF the owner backs him ….but now isn’t the time to think about that …let’s just enjoy todays achievement ….WAWAW 🦉😎

Top4719
To stay up from the position we were in is incredible, credit to Danny Rohl (what an asset he could be) all the backroom staff (especially Chris Powell) and the players, fantastic day. Nice to end the season with a double too. Bottoms up.
